The happiness of your toes is as important as the happiness of your brain

Happiness is part of our DNA. When we forget to be happy, we betray our DNA. Happiness doesn’t require any effort. Sadness requires effort. Naturally, when you wake up, you are happy. Every day, naturally, when you wake up, even before opening your eyes, happiness is inside. You have to feel it. When you stop feeling, you can be without happiness, and you can create sadness, negative thinking, and have a terrible day. Having a terrible day requires a lot of effort; it’s not easy to be sad. And it’s very easy to be happy, no effort, it’s in our DNA.

When you wake up, every cell of your body wakes up. Feel it! What do we do, usually, when we wake up? Most animals do the same: we stretch. What’s happening? Naturally the body is happy to wake up. You don’t think, “Oh, I need to stretch.” No, it’s coming. My cat, a lucky cat, sleeps sixteen hours every day; as soon as I wake him up, immediately it stretches. It’s natural; every animal does it.

Sometimes, I go walking on the little road here, and there are horses. So funny, because when horses sleep, they don’t lie down, they sleep standing up. And I can feel when they are sleeping, they stand up but they sleep. Many animals don’t need to lie down to sleep. There are some beautiful birds, they fly for two months, and they sleep flying. Naturally, they are just flying, letting the wind support them, for two months, without landing; and ten to twelve hours a day, they sleep. So, the horses, if you are lucky enough to pass when they wake up, they stretch. It’s so funny to see that. We don’t imagine horses stretching like us.

What happens when we stretch? It’s our body talking, saying, “I’m happy to be alive.” You see the position of the body: happy people, their shoulders are down; people who are stressed, their shoulders are up. And this week, there was a scientific publication about a little tool to measure the distance between the shoulders and the head, which shows your level of happiness or stress. Naturally, when you are a little bit stressed, or in a difficult moment, you don’t pay attention but you compress your shoulders and look down, because you cannot look up with the shoulders like that. You wake up, naturally the shoulders go down, and the body is talking to you; each cell, everywhere in your body, expresses our DNA, which is happiness.

So, this is not happiness. When you see people like that, they are not happy; but naturally, if you just make a little effort to open, first of all, the breasts of girls are more beautiful; for me, it’s very important. If you contract, the breasts disappear. If you want to put the tits out, tits are happy when they can show themselves; when you are really happy, they come out. This is the natural position of happiness. Simple! So, when you wake up, feel this natural physical happiness. No need for meditation; naturally, the body wakes up happy! After, you can have a meditation, but immediately before opening your eyes, there is the process of waking up. All the body reconnects, all the organs reconnect, the heartbeat changes, the liver, every organ works.

But if you don’t listen to your body, you can betray it, “What a terrible day, what a terrible life. It’s raining.” Naturally, you change the rhythm of your heart; you change the rhythm of your breathing. When you see other people sleeping; the breathing is very regular, very calm. But stressed people, their breathing is different, their heartbeat is different; their body is not happy. If you let it be natural, happiness comes naturally; while you need a lot of effort to be sad. So, it’s better to save energy!

People who are not happy are much more tired. Happiness doesn’t require energy, but to be not happy, you need a lot of energy. That’s why people who are not happy drink a lot of coffee, or tea, or smoke cigarettes, or take drugs, because they become exhausted, very tired, just by being not happy. You know it, if you have a day where there is a lot of stress, or unhappiness, at the end of the day you are totally exhausted. And then, you have difficulty sleeping, because when you are too tired, you have difficulty sleeping. And the next day, you are more tired; it’s a vicious circle. So, when you wake up, let your DNA express itself. DNA is happiness; it’s a natural state to be happy, it doesn’t require any effort. So, if you want to have good energy all day, be happy!

That’s what you have to do every day. Remember, the first thought – I was already teaching this many years ago – the first thought is important. And this first thought must be of happiness. It’s not difficult; it’s so easy to be thankful, “Ah, today it’s sunny.” “Oh, today we go to a gathering with Raelians, we have a contact this morning”. Aren’t you happy with that? You should fly! Coming to the gathering this morning is “flying”. Normal people say, “Ah, today I will travel to Hawaii”, and they feel happy, because of the trip. But coming to the contact is much better than going to Hawaii. It cannot be a better place. You come and you spend some time with Maitreya, listening to his teaching. Can there be a happier day? So, think about it when you wake up! And keep this happiness.

You are Raelians; you are lucky enough to be recognized by the Elohim. You all did your cellular plan transmission. Do you remember? What did I say? “The Elohim recognized you!” You are recognized by the Elohim. If you are not happy with that, nothing can make you happy. You are all guided by the light of the Elohim. In every footstep you will do during the day, the Elohim are walking with you; when you laugh, the Elohim are laughing with you; when you meditate, the Elohim are meditating with you, in every part of your life. With that, if you forget to be happy, you have a big problem.

I like this sentence of a philosopher, who says, “When you are alone, if you feel lonely you are in a very bad company.” I repeat, because it’s very important, “When you are alone, if you feel lonely you are in a very bad company.” You! The bad company is yourself! If you are alone and feel lonely, you are in bad company. How to be in good company? By being happy! If you are happy with yourself, you are in good company. Your company is you! You are with yourself forever, every second of your life. So, do you want a company, you, to be good or bad? If you are happy, you are in a very good company.

Happiness is your best friend, and for that you need nobody, only you!

The three questions: “Where am I? Why am I here? Who is with me?” All these steps increase the power of happiness. Right now: “Where are you?” Think about it, feel it. “Why are you here?” You have the answer. And most importantly, the dessert: “Who is with you?” Thousands of Raelians, around the world, dream to be here right now. Some are reading this thanks to the Internet, thinking about us; but you, you are with me here! So, think about it every morning, feel it, feel this happiness coming from each cell of your body. If you feel happiness, it’s not only in the head, even in your big toe, or the little one; the little finger is also happy. It’s a good training to feel happiness in the little finger.

One of the meditations I do in the morning, to slow down aging – you know, many people do this kind of exercise, it’s part of the Buddhist meditation – but another one: you contract the left hand, at the same time the right toes, and there is a connection that is interesting; and then other side. You make your body feel one. The happiness of your toes is as important as the happiness of your brain. Every cell of your body, when you are happy, feels it. Saying that they feel it is not strong enough, they are part of it.

Instead of saying, “I am happy”, what you should say is, “We are happy.” It’s a population; millions of cells that are happy at the same moment. And that’s why dancing is very important, because suddenly all the body is moving in happiness. Meditation also. Don’t make the mistake of the beginners, who think that meditation is only happening in the brain. I always say to the beginners, “Meditate with your big toe!” This full body is a population. There are eight billion people on Earth, but there are billions of cells in your body. So, it’s more, “We are happy.” You can talk to your big toe, “Are you happy with me?” There was a singer in Quebec, singing for his toes, to feel this oneness and to be happy. Are you happy? – [I am.]

Not only with me, but also with your brothers and sisters. Yes, I am aging, and I can disappear quickly, but even the youngest one can die any day; any day, each of us. And we can imagine the next Sunday without one of the Raelians; any of us. So, the same beautiful emotion of the privilege to be close to me, have it also to be close to each other. You are unique. You are the only ones. That’s a privilege to be together. And when we wake up, we have to think about all our brothers and sisters, and feel how lucky we are to be alive at the same time, because it passes so quickly.

Some are now in the sky. I can name so many names. But we are alive; we live close to each other, if not in the same house, on the same island, on the same planet. Enjoy it, each second.
