This week brought many very interesting scientific news.
Do you remember my teaching about the Zen monk who tells the young student: “Sit down”? When the student arrives, eager to learn meditation, the master simply says: “Sit down.” After a while, the student asks, “What is the exercise?” Same question after twenty minutes, then thirty minutes. The master still replies: “Sit down.” After an hour: “Sit down. That’s all.”
A scientific study published this week confirms that if you sit in silence without speaking for just ten minutes, the number of your neurons increases. So simple! Just sit in silence.
We are now entering the era of singularity. It’s not happening all at once—it’s a gradual process—but the number of scientific revolutions is growing every day. In China, robots are now everywhere and improving everything. It’s a real explosion of progress. A Chinese doctor recently performed a surgery from Spain—remotely, through a computer—on a patient in China. No travel, no physical presence. You need surgery, you lie down, and a doctor thousands of kilometers away operates on you. That’s happening now! Had someone explained this forty years ago, people would’ve said: “You’re crazy!” Just like today, if someone says: “I met beings from a UFO, and they gave me a message explaining how they created life”—people still respond, “You’re crazy!”
Yet the singularity brings developments even more “crazy” than that, every single day. You must pay attention to the scientific news. We are living in a fantastic time, a fantastic and beautiful time.
And who are the happiest people in this transformative era? The Raelians! For nearly fifty years, I’ve been preparing you for what is unfolding now. People used to laugh at you—now, they don’t laugh anymore. It’s fascinating to see how Raelians are perfectly adapted to this new age of singularity—in every aspect: quantum physics, quantum computing, and so much more. What seems unimaginable to the average person, to us, is: “So what? We’ve been saying this for fifty years!”
Scientists recently discovered that at the core of atomic particles—going deeper into the particle of the particle of the particle—lies the symbol of infinity. They observed the Yin-Yang, just like the one on South Korea’s national flag. You can find it online—they photographed it. Inside atoms, they saw the exact symbol. How could people thousands of years ago in China or Korea have known this? They had no microscopes, no electron technology, and yet they drew that exact symbol. It was a belief. But now, we see it with a microscope—it’s no longer a belief; it’s a fact. For Raelians, this is not surprising—but for others, it’s shocking.
The message from the Elohim has been preparing us for this moment for fifty years. At that time, no one even imagined the concept of singularity. Today, everyone is talking about it. Everyone knows about DNA. But you—Raelians—were the first. The first to talk about DNA, cloning, eternal life. Understand how privileged you are to have received the Elohim’s message. It’s not a god commanding you—it’s advanced beings, men and women like us, preparing us for science—real science, because there is real science and false science. Scientists used to claim that the Earth was flat, it was not real science.
Even today, with vaccines and new technologies, people say, “We must follow the science.” But the very essence of science is something which must not be followed. Science is never an answer—it’s always a question. Scientists never claim certainty. “Here is a vaccine, it will save humanity”, No! A real scientist asks, “Why?” Each discovery, each question, brings more questions, universe, atoms, particles. While false scientists gives answers and say, “This is how atoms work,” real scientists say, “Why?” That is science. The word why is at the core of science.
You see something, you see the proof. No, what you see is the question! And very advanced scientists now are doing that when they explore the infinitely small and infinitely large, because it’s the same; we know it’s the same, nobody knows that. But advanced scientists, very advanced ones, using quantum computers, the more advanced they become in their understanding, the more they say: “We don’t know!” Real scientists don’t know; false scientists know everything, but they know nothing! And the more you study, the more you have tools to explore the infinitely small or infinitely large, the more you understand that there is nothing to understand.
You’ve heard me say this for years: Feel infinity—don’t try to understand it. It’s impossible. It’s infinity. The more we delve into the infinitely small or the infinity of galaxies and the universe, the more we realize we cannot fully grasp it. We are close to the moment when singularity will end the need to “understand”—we will simply feel, use, and enjoy this knowledge. That is true knowledge.
Another recently published discovery: consciousness is everywhere—in every animal, in plants. Some real scientists even asked a remarkable question – that’s why they are scientists-: Is the Earth conscious? That’s their question as they explore, they measure and they say “it looks like Earth is conscious”. Fifty years ago, asking that would have landed them in a psychiatric ward. Today, based on their research and measurements, they are daring to ask it. “Could the planet be conscious?” Of course it is!
The universe itself is conscious. Not supraconscious, but conscious. Even bacteria exhibit forms of consciousness. For example: my cat likes to catch little Japanese mice in the park. Many of you have cats, and they usually defecate in a box. Scientists discovered a parasite in cat feces that lives in the intestines. That’s why you must never let cats, dogs, any animal, lick your mouth. These bacteria and parasites must reproduce and reach other cats—but how? These parasites end up in rat intestines when rats eat the feces or lick cat urine. From there, they move to the rats’ brains—and once there, they control the rats! Normally, a rat runs from a cat, but infected rats go toward the cat, attack it—and get eaten—allowing the parasite to reach its goal: another cat’s gut. If that’s not consciousness, what is?
You can see it, consciousness is everywhere, in everything alive. Even butterflies are an example: they have two consciousnesses—one as a caterpillar, one as a butterfly. Here is a great question for science: Is the caterpillar conscious it will become a butterfly? That’s interesting. The DNA of a caterpillar is totally different from the one of the butterfly. The caterpillar’s DNA modifies itself to become a butterfly’s one. Consciousness is everywhere! Does the butterfly remember being a caterpillar? These are very interesting questions that remain unanswered.
All these top Scientists who pretend to know everything about the universe, the atoms, they don’t know. They say: “We don’t know, but it’s happening.”
We are living in an extraordinary moment in human history—a moment of singularity—where we can understand everything, and in doing so, understand that we cannot understand. That’s difficult for many scientists. Their training insists that everything can be explained. But the most beautiful scientific moment is when a scientist finally says: “We cannot understand.”And that’s where science and spirituality meet. There is no spirituality without humility. You cannot be a great philosopher, a great spiritual teacher—like Lao-Tzu—without humility. And for science, it is the same. True science begins with the humility to say: not only we don’t know, but we will never understand. That’s a radical idea for a scientist! The very essence of a scientist is that if they work hard enough, they will understand everything.” That’s where spirituality and science come together.
Religious leaders say, “We cannot know everything about God or the Elohim.” It is the mystery of God. Just receive the message of love, follow their teachings, and stop trying to understand everything. Just accept it: it is.
It’s the same in science and in religion. And yes—both can fall into the illusion that they understand. Nobody can understand God. Nobody can understand the Elohim. Think about the level of their science! We can slowly open our brain and say, “The Elohim came and created life on Earth using DNA.” That’s kindergarten level. They say, “We can move solar systems.” That’s not the same league. Nobody can understand.
So, Infinity is in religion, and infinity is in science. Our symbol explains it all. And how ironic is this: at the beginning of the Movement, people were shocked by the swastika in our symbol, accusing: “How dare you use a Nazi symbol?” But now, they’re shocked by the Star of David: “How dare you use the symbol of Jewish people killing Palestinians?” The same symbol—and yet it includes everything, especially infinity. And we are very, very lucky to know everything, including that we cannot know everything.
